After many years without a football team, Mobberley Football Club (MFC) was recently reformed to provide FA qualified Football coaching sessions for all kids between school years 2 - 7. Many years ago Mobberley had a football team known as 'Mobberley Rangers' and in memory of this it is intended that the first team to be fielded by MFC will be known as the 'Rangers'..... MFC now consists of 3 age groups and we have qualified FA coaches running each of the teams. League/cup match are usually scheduled for Saturdays however when no fixtures exist training sessions will be held between 10am and 12pm every Saturday on the Ilford playing field. All our teams play in the Timperley and District league in Cheshire. Fully structured training sessions are provided by an FA qualified coach to include thorough warm up and cool down periods with technical football routines and exercises in between. Depending on numbers, support from parents and other coaches we will assess as and when possible the introduction of other age groups/school years can commence.
